We need to live with all of the evil memories of the tragedies that we saw and at the same time, we know that more will come. The beast is also our friend, that keeps us warm, gives food, brings light, drives us to work, or can be essential for life. But in a second it could be turned from a best friend into the worst enemy. We know how good it feels to not see the evil realities that linger just out of sight.
