"The animal agriculture industry is full of deception and deceit. This film captures the final moments of pigs, roughly around 6 months old before they enter the slaughterhouse and are killed for 'pork'. A rare moment many, who consume meat will never see nor think about. Accompanied by a simple buddhist mantra prayer, Om Ah Hung Benza Guru Puma Siddhi Hung, this film explores the connection between the life and death pigs from the slaughterhouse to dinner table plates. How can we, human beings, morally justify killing sentient beings for greed? The footage captured is at Essex Pig Save, apart of the The Save Movement in which activists come together to offer a single moment of comfort and love to these animals and document the barbarism that is the animal agriculture industry. Evil thrives from plate to plate, our own bodies carry their plight."
